Cadastre and the telematics services: Uruguay case

The national cadastre of Uruguay has been undertaking thorough
institutional modernization process, focused, not only
on acquiring technology and innovation but also on applying
them to the maintenance of cadastre registry routines. Dringu
this period, many changes have been mode, emphasizing easy
information access while tools and apps were developed towards
a digital administration. The concept of multipurpose cadastre
was incorporated promoting the expansion of its use for different
purposes.
One of the main milestones was the creation of the first cadastre
virtual office in Latin America.
The support of the international cooperation was very valuables
as well as the result of being close to reference circles worldwide,
to adopt the best practices.
In addition, this process also resulted in the strengthening of
the organization and in a change management process of institutional
culture.
