Abstract

The article discusses the relationship between land cadastral
systems and the Voluntary Guidelines on Responsible Governance
of Tenure of Land, Fisheries and Forests in the Context of
National Food Security (DVGT). They represent an international
framework that seeks to achieve fairer and more equitable management
of natural resources in times of intensified use and
persistent inequities. Cadastral systems are presented as an
indispensable pillar to achieve responsible governance of these
resources.
