A journey through time via the CNIG photo library

The National Geographic Information Centre (CNIG) is responsible for distributing geographic data and managing the aerial photograph database of the National Geographic Institute (IGN). The CNIG's Photo Library preserves, archives, and digitizes these collections, making them available to the public online and through personalized services. Key actions include the conservation and digitization of photograms; the storage of digital images, and the management of its database; and the maintenance of the Digital Photographic Library for the online consultation and certification of photograms.
